Make money doing what you love
Becoming financially independent leads to a happier life
Logan, Utah-Doing what you love is easy, but making money while doing it can be difficult. Learning how to invest, lower your expenses, and make “passive income” can lead to a happier life, full of doing things you want to, not have to.
Passive income is a term referring to income that you don’t think about, including interest, and investments. Learning how to make this kind of money is a valuable lesson, and being taught for free right now in Logan, Utah.
President of the Cache Valley Area Investors Association, Preston Parker, says earning passive income is the key to leading a happy life. Learning how to invest smartly leads to passive income.
Parker founded the CVAIA to help people become satisfied with their lives and finances. “I want people to be happy, to have jobs they love and to be
financially independent," said Parker.
Never do a job you hate again. Learn how to lower your expenses and make passive income, and lead a fuller life. “Once your passive income surpasses your expenses, it doesn’t matter what you do for a living,” said Parker. “Work can be fun; you can do what you want and what you enjoy.”
The CVAIA meets every other Thursday at the Cache County Chamber of Commerce building. The meetings are held at 7 p.m., each featuring a guest lecturer. CVAIA’s website cvaia.com has more information regarding their goals, along with videos, theory information, and updated meeting dates and speakers.
The next meeting is scheduled for Oct. 1, 2009. There will be three meetings in October with lectures from local business owners including Justin Hamilton, owner of Hamilton’s, and Sam Winward, owner of New York Life Insurance Company.
"Creating an atmosphere where people actually want to go to work may end up making the world a better place," said Parker. "The education is right here for the taking. Everyone is invited to come.”
On CVAIA’s website you can register to be a member through Twitter and Facebook.
Meetings are free of charge.
Investment theories and financial education have been taught and formed by Robert Kyokasi, Suze Orman, Clark Howard, and Dave Ramsey.
Cache Valley Area Investors Association (CVAIA) teaches people how to increase passive income. CVAIA embraces the law of attraction, law of abundance, and law of exchange. They practice the methods found in the ideologies of books including Rich Dad Poor Dad, The Wealthy Barber, The Millionaire Next Door, Atlas Shrugged, The Automatic Millionaire, and The Secret. CVAIA began in August 2007 and now has members from many geographical locations and from all walks of life. The members come together with the same belief: that education mitigates the risks of investing. The club currently has over 80 members on Facebook and on emailing lists.
